For this year's Black History Month display, I chose Dr Carla Hayden- the most recent Librarian of Congress. I say most recent instead of current because Trump fired her with no reason given in May and hasn't sworn in a replacement. Yup, there isn't anyone in charge of the world's largest library. Dr Hayden's information has disappeared from the Library of Congress website. What other materials are disappearing from the LoC without a guardian?
