After 2+ hours of planning and debating and calculating we booked our flight to Seattle for Spring Break. Our end destination is Hood River, Oregon, but flights were crazy expensive with long layovers so we opted for cheaper nonstop flight and a Greyhound bus ride. Lucky for us we have friends in Seattle. And our Hood River friends have friends in Portland who might pick us up and let us borrow their car. And I have parents who are happy to have their grandaugher visit for a few days. It's going to be a short trip and even though I think Korra would love to go and see her friends, it might be better to take this adventure sans-kindergarteners.
