This morning Korra and I bought 2 dozen doughnuts for her to share with her homeroom. As we were walking up to the school (I walked with her to help her carry everything), Korra told me how much she liked the crossing guard because she was nice and funny. As we crossed the street, Korra waved and the guard (Ms T) stopped me and said, "Is this your baby? You've done an excellent job, Mama. She is just amazing. I love this child. She absolutely brightens up my day."
That. That right there is who this child is. I love her so much and I'm so thankful for her.
