North Side

In the morning Malissa and I took the kids to a playground and beach while the guys went to a rum tasting. After naps, we drove up to the north side of the island. We saw some caves

then we went to the northern most beach near the Na'Pali coast (part of the island is inaccessible due to the canyon and swampy area.)

We didn't bring swimsuits because it was later in the day and colder, but the water was so warm there (warmer than it was at noon on the first beach we went to) that the kids begged to get in. 

A few minutes later, it poured and we got filthy muddy on the way to the car. Oh well. Totally worth it.
