While I'm quietly waiting for testing to finish, I decided to research the canidates for our upcoming local election. I found this site where you can see a sample ballot and then learned that in all 6 elections, the incumbent is running unopposed. I also learned that in my county you have to pay a $2,600 fee to run for Sheriff.
