Maternity Clothes Shopping
As you may know, we live in a town with very few options when it comes to shopping, so today Nate and I drove the 30 minutes to the nearest decent shopping center. My plan was to pick out a maternity swim suit. I went to 4 stores (Old Navy, Target, Ross, and TJ Maxx) and found NOTHING. In fact, most had little to no maternity clothes at all. So I did what an pregnant woman would do- I cried in the store.

Next time you're in Newnan go to motherhood maternity. It's in Ashley park, and isn't crazy expensive. Also they have a fake belly you can try on with clothes which may be helpful since your body will change so much between now and the end of summer.
also, if you're in atlanta anytime soon, macy's has a pretty good selection of maternity too, and it's not crazy expensive...comparable to target (jeans for $25-35, shirts for $15-25), but more selection. good luck! the bella band will also allow you to wear pants and skirts for much longer than you would otherwise!
i thought both motherhood and macy's were a bit expensive, but i don't think i was ever there during a sale. honestly, what you found is just the way it is and it sucks. kohl's also has maternity (it's where i finally found my jeans) but--like old navy--every store varies widely in how big of a department they have. my best finds actually came from gap--both their website (though it's mail-only returns) or the store at lenox (which is far away, i know). and obviously their prices start pretty high, too, but their clearance goes really low. plus, if you join their email list, you often get extra 20, 30 or 40% off shopping passes...
oh, and always check target.com coupons (there's a link in the upper right corner) for liz lange (their maternity line) coupons! and target[.com or in-stores] for clearance, because those are good prices and you have 90 days to return anything if you change your mind/ need time to get back to the store (even online orders). and always 5% off and free shipping (no minimum order) if you sign up for and use a target credit card.
